Oakhurst, CA. – A cyclist was seriously injured in a traffic accident that happened Wednesday afternoon near an intersection in Oakhurst, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident took place around 2:49 p.m. on State Route 49 near Oak Park Way.

A rider on an electric bicycle was reportedly traveling on the wrong side of the road when they collided with a white dump truck.

The cyclist was seriously injured in the crash.
