Fresno, CA.- A bicyclist was hit and injured by a vehicle in Fresno on Thursday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at about 7:05 p.m. February 6, on Clovis Avenues and Kings Canyon avenues.
The CHP reported that an 18-year-old man was riding a bike at the intersection when he failed to yield to a red light and was hit by a vehicle driven by a 49-year-old woman.
The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center with a head injury.
The driver of the vehicle, who was not injured, stayed at the scene after the crash.
The accident is under investigation.
