Sacramento, CA.- The pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Sacramento on Sunday evening has been identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.

Bee Lao, 46, of Sacramento, died in the incident that took place in the area of Del Paso and Marysville boulevards at around 6:30 p.m. November 2.

According to the report, authorities responded to the scene and located Lao down in the roadway.

Lao was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver who hit Lao stayed at the scene after the accident.

DUI was not suspected to be a factor in the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
