Azim Sayedi Hit and Killed by Vehicle on Kirker Pass Road in Concord
Concord, California (August 2, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Concord early Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 5 a.m. July 31, on Kirker Pass Road.
25-year-old Azim Sayedi was walking on the southbound bypass road near Clearbook and Myrtle drives when he was hit by a passing car.
Sayedi died at the scene of the accident, according to the Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office.
Kirker Pass Road was closed for about three hours as the officers examined the scene.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
