San Andreas, CA – One person died in a head-on collision Wednesday evening at an intersection in San Andreas, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 6:10 p.m. December 17, in front of the 3347 block of State Route 49 at Union Mine Road.
A white Ford pickup truck and a sedan were involved in the crash. One person got trapped inside one of the cars.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and helped the victims.
CHP said one person died in the crash.
It was unclear if any other injuries were reported.
Authorities are investigating to determine the factors that led to the accident.
