Milpitas, CA.- The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that occurred on Interstate 880 southbound in Milpitas early Friday morning.
The wreck happened at about 4 a.m. near Tasman Drive.
Two vehicles were involved in an initial crash on the interstate.
Other vehicles also collided after one of them hit a tire in the roadway.
At least one person died in the crash.
Southbound lanes of I-880 were shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
