Karl Sundquist, 53, of Moses Lake, was driving west on SR 28 when he drifted into the eastbound side and collided with a vehicle driven by Jose Nevarezvela, 56, of Quincy.

Rock Island, WA.- At least two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision near Rock Island on Saturday evening, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident took place on State Route 28, just after 5 p.m. January 19.
According to the WSP, Karl Sundquist, 53, of Moses Lake, was driving west on SR 28 when he drifted into the eastbound side and collided with a vehicle driven by Jose Nevarezvela, 56, of Quincy.
Nevarezvela's vehicle then hit a vehicle driven by Jacinto Delgado, 52, of Euphrata.
Jay Paxton, 38, of East Wenatchee, was also driving in the area and swerved to avoid Sundquist but ended up in a ditch.
Sundquist and a passenger in Nevarezvela's vehicle, Araceli Olaldemedina, 50, of Quincy, were taken to Confluence Hospital in Wenatchee with unspecified injuries.
Other parties involved in the crash were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The WSP reported that Sundquist was suspected of DUI.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
