38-year-old Jeffrey Michael Stein was hospitalized with serious injuries
Wallowa County, OR. – One person was killed in a collision on Friday morning in Wallowa County.
According to Oregon State Police, the accident happened around 7:22 a.m. on Oregon 82 near milepost 43.
50-year-old Andrew Victor Singer of Wallowa was driving a Subaru Impreza eastbound when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a westbound Toyota Rav4 head-on.
Singer was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Toyota, 38-year-old Jeffrey Michael Stein, of Elgin, was hospitalized with serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
