Valley Springs, CA.– One person was injured in a crash involving a suspected DUI driver in Valley Springs, the California Highway Patrol reported on Wednesday.
The incident happened on Sandretto Road near Pardee Dam Road.
According to CHP, Cole Webber, 25, of Vallecito, was driving a 2005 Dodge 2500 pickup truck south on Sandretto Road when, for unknown reasons, the pickup collided with an oncoming 2013 Toyota 4Runner SUV.
The impact sent the pickup and its horse trailer off the side of the roadway.
Both drivers were not injured in the accident but a passenger in the pickup, Alexia Franco, 24, sustained minor injuries.
A horse that was in the trailer was not injured.
Webber was arrested on suspicion of DUI following the crash.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
