Juvenile Injured in Alamo Bicycle Accident on Stone Valley Road at Danville Boulevard
Alamo, California (September 3, 2021) – A teen bicyclist was injured after being struck by a vehicle Friday morning at an intersection in Alamo, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The bicycle accident occurred at around 7:56 a.m. at the intersection of Stone Valley Road and Danville Boulevard.
As per the CHP report, the juvenile was riding the bicycle near the Stone Valley Road on-ramp to the northbound Interstate 680 Freeway when, for unknown reasons, they were hit by a silver minivan.
The elderly woman who was driving the minivan stopped at the scene and called 911.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to render aid to the injured bicyclist. It was not immediately clear if the patient was hospitalized for further treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
