Aiden Gossage ID'd as 16-year-old boy Killed in Suspected DUI Crash on Los Coyotes Diagonal at Deborah Street in Long Beach
Long Beach, California (September 6, 2021) – Authorities have identified the 16-year-old boy who died after being struck by a suspected drunken driver Saturday night at an intersection in Long Beach as Aiden Gossage of Long Beach.
The deadly accident occurred at about 9:07 p.m. Saturday, September 4, at the intersection of Los Coyotes Diagonal and Deborah Street.
Authorities said Gossage was crossing the street inside a marked crosswalk when, for unknown reasons, he was struck by a 2001 Chevrolet Tracker that was heading southbound on Los Coyotes Diagonal, driven by Kevin Chris Dahl, 33, of Lakewood.

Gossage was declared dead at the scene, despite life-saving measures performed by emergency personnel.
Dahl was arrested and booked for one count of gross vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence. His bail was set at $100,000.
