Police said three vehicles were involved in the collision at the intersection.
The events leading up to the crash were still under investigation.
Two drivers were transported to a hospital and one of them had severe injuries.
The third driver declined medical transport.
According to the authorities, impairment is suspected to have played a role in the incident.
