5 Injured in Port Orchard Crash on SR 160 (SE Sedgwick Road) at Aiken Road SE

Port Orchard, WA.- Children were among five people who were injured in a traffic collision in Port Orchard on Thursday, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The incident took place on SR 160 (SE Sedgwick Road) at Aiken Road SE on Thursday, March 20.

The WSP reported that a black Cadillac Escalade was traveling east on SR 160 when it drifted across the centerline and collided head-on with an oncoming SUV.

Three children in the Cadillac were transported to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The driver of the SUV was taken to St. Anthony's Hospital while the Cadillac driver was transported to Tacoma General.

The conditions of the hospitalized patients were unknown.

According to the report, the driver of the Cadillac was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

The WSP is investigating the accident.
