2 Men Die After Motorcycle, Pedestrian Crash at Huntington Beach Intersection

Huntington Beach, CA. – A 45-year-old Los Angeles man and a 46-year-old Huntington Beach man died Thursday in a pedestrian versus motorcycle accident that happened at an intersection in Huntington Beach.

The incident occurred around 8:27 p.m. at Beach Boulevard and Ellis Avenue.

Huntington Beach police officers, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the area shortly after they were notified about the crash.

The responders found the two men unconscious in the roadway.

The paramedics pronounced both men dead at the scene.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the Los Angeles man was riding a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on Beach Boulevard while the pedestrian was crossing Beach outside of a crosswalk when the crash happened.

The HBPD Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team is investigating the collision.
