Police reported that a 32-year-old woman was driving a 2016 Ford Explorer heading west on 32nd Street when she attempted to turn left onto Avenue 6E and crashed with a 2015 Nissan Rogue driven eastbound on 32nd Street by a 71-year-old
Yuma, AZ.- Two people were killed in a collision that took place in Yuma on Sunday afternoon, according to the Yuma Police Department.
The incident happened at about 2:30 p.m. April 13, near E. 32nd Street and Avenue 6E.
Police reported that a 32-year-old woman was driving a 2016 Ford Explorer heading west on 32nd Street when she attempted to turn left onto Avenue 6E and crashed with a 2015 Nissan Rogue driven eastbound on 32nd Street by a 71-year-old.
The Ford Nissan driver and his passenger were both rushed to Onvida Health, where they succumbed to their injuries.
The woman driving the Ford and her passenger, an 18-month-old boy, were both taken to Onvida Health for treatment of minor injuries
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
