Fresno County, CA. – Two people were killed in a car crash on Thursday night in Fresno County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 9 p.m. at Westlawn and McKinley Avenues.
A 22-year-old Fresno man was driving a Honda Civic north on Westlawn when he went through a stop sign and struck a westbound Chevy Silverado driven by a 68-year-old woman.
The driver of the Honda was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
A 20-year-old passenger in the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Chevy were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
