Sacramento, CA. – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Monday afternoon in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident took place around 5:14 p.m. on southbound State Route 51, just north of the P Street off-ramp.
Three vehicles, including a Chevrolet HHR and an orange PT Cruiser, were involved in the accident.
A female occupant in one of the cars had difficulty breathing, and another female occupant in the PT Cruiser had complained of pain to the chest.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported at least one of the patients to Kaiser Permanente Sacramento Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
