Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to get to both drivers before they could be extricated.

Fresno, CA. – Two people were seriously injured in a head-on collision on Saturday morning in Fresno.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 9 a.m. in the area of Shaw and Floyd Avenues.
A Toyota Tacoma and a Dodge Dart reportedly collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
North Central Fire crews had to use the Jaws of Life to get to both drivers before they could be extricated.
Both were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
