Roseville, CA.- A Placer County Sheriff’s deputy was among two people injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened in Roseville on Sunday evening, according to the authorities.

The wreck took place on Walerga and Baseline Road at around 5:30 p.m. August 3.

Two deputies were responding to an attempted rape call at Dry Creek Park and had the sirens and lights on when their vehicle collided with another at the intersection.

One deputy and the second driver were treated for minor injuries.

The other deputy was not injured.

The accident is under investigation.
