A white sedan was traveling at high speeds when it collided with a pickup truck making a left run at the intersection.
Los Angeles, CA. – Two people were hospitalized after a traffic collision involving a speeding driver that happened Saturday afternoon at an intersection in the Mission Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles.
According to authorities, the accident was reported around 5 p.m. at Lassen Street and Sepulveda Boulevard.
A white sedan was traveling at high speeds when it collided with a pickup truck making a left run at the intersection.
Fire broke out after the collision.
The driver of the sedan sustained severe injuries, and the driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries. Both patients were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police said speed was a factor on the sedan driver's part, but impairment was not thought to be a factor.
An investigation is ongoing.
