12-Yead-Old Girl Dies, 9 Others Injured in Car Accident at Century Boulevard and Paloma Avenue

South Los Angeles, CA. – Police are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that killed a 12-year-old girl and injured nine other individuals on Friday night in Green Meadows, South Los Angeles.

The accident occurred a while after 6:00 p.m. on July 5, at E. Century Boulevard and Paloma Avenue.

Police said three vehicles crashed in unclear circumstances.

One of the drivers was trapped inside their vehicles and the Los Angeles Fire Department officials extricated them.

A 12-year-old girl was declared dead at the accident scene.

Nine persons – six adults and three children – were hospitalized with injuries following the collision.

An investigation is underway.
