Brentwood, CA. – One person was severely hurt in a two-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday afternoon at an intersection in Brentwood, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 3:05 p.m. at Vasco Road and Walnut Boulevard.
A white Honda CR-V and a white truck were involved in the collision. The vehicles were left blocking the intersection.
The Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to the scene.
One person suffered major injuries in the crash, including a broken sternum and ribs. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
