Irvine, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Friday afternoon on a freeway on-ramp in Irvine, the California Highway Patrol reported.

A Ford Explorer and a Mercedes-Benz SUV were involved in the crash.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
One person was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
