Willows, CA. – One person died in a traffic collision that happened Tuesday night in Willows, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck occurred around 8:37 p.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway, just north of County Road 68.
A red 2021 Dodge 1500 pickup truck and a blue Ford F-150 pickup truck were involved in the collision. One of the vehicles reportedly rolled over in the crash.
Glenn County firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
The report said one person died in the crash.
A helicopter was used to airlift one seriously injured person to Enloe Medical Center for treatment.
It was unclear if the fatality happened at the scene or occurred at the hospital.
Both vehicles were towed away with severe crash damage.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
