Watsonville, CA. – One person was airlifted to the hospital with severe injuries after a head-on collision that happened Friday afternoon at an intersection in Watsonville.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck transpired around 4:15 p.m. at Tarpey Road and Maher Road.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found a small gold sedan and a white pickup truck involved in a head-on crash. Both vehicles had front-end damage.
One person suffered severe injuries in the crash. The patient was transported by air ambulance to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
