At around 7:30 p.m., the Modesto Police Department responded to reports of a motorcycle accident near Sylvan Avenue and Carson Oak Drive.
A motorcyclist reportedly collided with a Nissan Altima in unclear circumstances.
The rider was transported to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The Nissan driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
