According to the Long Beach Fire Department, the accident happened around 11:44 a.m. in the area of Pepper Tree Lane and East Seventh Street.
A box truck and a car were involved in the collision. The impact of the collision sent the box truck off the highway, where it crashed into a wall.
One occupant of the box truck was killed in the accident.
