A 38-year-old man was walking in the area and was hit by a Kia Optima driven by a 22-year-old man
Fresno County, CA. – A man died after being hit by a car early Thursday morning near Parlier in Fresno County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 1 a.m. on Manning Avenue near Zediker Avenue.
A 38-year-old man was walking in the area and was hit by a Kia Optima driven by a 22-year-old man.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The Kia driver was unhurt. He remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
