A vehicle reportedly crashed near the intersection and burst into flames
San Luis Obispo County, CA.- One person was killed in a car accident near Nacimiento Lake in San Luis Obispo County on Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place just after 2 p.m. September 22, on Nacimiento Lake Drive and Steelhead Road.
A vehicle reportedly crashed near the intersection and burst into flames.
The fire spread to nearby vegetation after the accident.
Firefighters responded to the scene and put out the fire.
The driver of the vehicle was declared dead shortly after the crash.
The identity of the deceased party was not immediately released.
