One person killed in a collision on Highway 299 near Hatchet Summit in Burney
Burney, CA. – A man was killed in a car crash on Monday afternoon in Burney.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 299 near Hatchet Summit at around 3 p.m.
A man driving a green Ford F-350 pickup truck eastbound on the highway lost control, veered off the highway and struck a pine tree.
The man was killed in the accident.
