Castaic, CA.- One person was killed in a car accident on Tuesday night in Castaic, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on the 5 Freeway at Lake Hughes Road at about 8:30 p.m. February 4.
According to the report, a pedestrian was hit by at least one vehicle on the northbound lanes of I-5.
The pedestrian, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The northbound lanes of the freeway were shut down at Lake Hughes Road as authorities investigated the incident.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
