According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place around 10:10 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway between Mugu Rock and Las Posas Road.
Ventura County, CA. – One person died, and another was hospitalized after a head-on collision that happened Friday night in Ventura County, the California Highway Patrol reported.

A white sedan and a black sedan were involved in a head-on accident.
One person inside the black sedan was pronounced dead at the scene after failed resuscitation.
Another occupant of the white sedan was hospitalized with critical injuries.
Both northbound and southbound lanes of PCH were shut down following the crash.
CHP officers, Ventura County coroner, Ventura County Fire, Gold Coast Paramedics, were among the personnel who responded to the scene.
