Temecula, CA. – At least one person was injured in a Thursday morning car crash in Temecula.
At around 4:51 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car crash on Highway 79 near Benton Road.
According to CHP's report, a red Toyota Tacoma and a smaller sedan were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the collision, however, were not immediately determined.
At least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Additional information about the accident was not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
