Whitethorn, CA.- One person was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Whitethorn on Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on Shelter Cove Road near Chemise Mountain Road at around 11:51 a.m. October 25.
According to the report, a vehicle traveling on Shelter Cove Road drifted off the roadway and crashed down an embankment.
The vehicle was fully engulfed in flames when emergency crews arrived at the scene.
One occupant of the vehicle was being treated for a head injury.
The California Highway Patrol is working to determine the cause of the accident.
