Pedestrian struck by car on Highway 70 near Montgomery Street in Oroville
Oroville, CA. – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a car on Monday afternoon in Oroville.
The auto-pedestrian accident was reported around 3:56 p.m. on Highway 70 near Montgomery Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The female pedestrian was crossing the highway when a driver slammed his brakes to avoid a collision.
A second vehicle was unable to stop in time and rear-ended the first vehicle. The impact pushed the vehicles into the pedestrian.
The unidentified pedestrian was hospitalized with minor injuries.
