Sacramento, CA. – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car on Tuesday evening near Carmichael in North Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Winding Way near Barrett Road at around 7:42 p.m.
A white SUV is reported to have struck a pedestrian on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
The unidentified pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries.
