Authorities say a Tesla slammed into the rear end of the Toyota Rav4 which was parked on the side of the road
Fullerton, Calif. – At least one person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident last week Friday in Fullerton.
The collision happened around 11:40 p.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway near the 91 Freeway interchange, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Tesla and a Toyota Rav4 were recovered at the scene of the accident. Authorities say a Tesla slammed into the rear end of the Toyota Rav4, which was parked on the side of the road and had two female occupants.
One occupant of the Toyota was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
The female driver of the Tesla was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
