Tonopah, AZ.- One person was injured in a crash involving a big rig in Tonopah on Friday morning, according to a report by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The wreck happened at around 7:45 a.m. April 11, on Interstate 10 near milepost 100.
The DPS reported that a car heading west on I-10 was involved in a collision with a semi-truck.
The truck was trapped underneath the big rig after the crash.
The car driver was pulled out of the car and was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
The accident caused the closure of westbound I-10 as authorities investigated the collision.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
