Portland, OR– One person was injured in a crash involving a TriMet Streetcar in south Portland on Sunday night, according to the Portland Fire and Rescue.

The accident took place on South Harbor Drive and South Harrison Street shortly before 9:30 p.m. January 19.

According to the report, the streetcar and another vehicle were involved in the collision, whose cause was not immediately released.

One person was pinned inside the second vehicle and had to be rescued by firefighters.

The victim was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.

The accident is under investigation.
