According to WSP, a 21-year-old driver was traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on I-5 when the car slammed into a second vehicle

Cowlitz County, WA.- One person was injured in a traffic collision that took place in Cowlitz County on Sunday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident took place on I-5 at milepost 54 at about 11 a.m. February 23.
According to WSP, a 21-year-old driver was traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on I-5 when the car slammed into a second vehicle.
The first vehicle was pushed off the roadway and it fell nearly 30 feet down the embankment.
The driver of the first vehicle was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
The second vehicle also collided with the center median but it's three occupants were not hurt.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
