Ontario, CA – Several people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Saturday afternoon in Ontario, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The pileup occurred around 4:22 p.m. on October 31, 2026, on the eastbound 10 Freeway near 4th Street.

CHP said seven vehicles, including a white minivan, a black BMW, a silver Honda Civic, a gray Toyota Prius, and a blue Hummer, were involved in the accident. The vehicles were blocking the traffic lanes.

Multiple ambulances responded to the scene. Two ambulances transported an unknown number of patients to San Antonio Regional Hospital, and one ambulance took an unknown number of patients to Pomona Valley Hospital. All patients sustained minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating to establish the factors that led to the collision.
