Sun Valley, CA – Four people were taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck that happened early Sunday morning in Sun Valley.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported around 3:35 a.m. on October 4, 2026, on the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway near Glenoaks Boulevard.
A Tesla, a semi-truck, and a sedan were involved in the accident. The semi-truck overturned onto its side.
Firefighters and paramedics responded and transported three people to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills and another person to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. The patients sustained unspecified injuries.
Investigators closed all northbound lanes of the freeway just south of Glenoaks Boulevard at 3:47 a.m. following the crash.
