San Francisco, CA – A bicyclist was injured in a crash involving a Muni bus near Forest Hill Station in San Francisco on Saturday afternoon.
According to the San Francisco Fire Department, the incident was reported at around 2:41 p.m. September 26, on Laguna Honda Boulevard near Woodside Avenue.
Initial reports indicate that a bicyclist failed to stop for a red light at the intersection and his leg was ran over by a Muni bus.
Firefighters arrived at the scene within minutes and rendered aid to the bicyclist.
The rider was then rushed to a trauma center for further treatment. There was no update on the condition of the injured patient.
The bus stopped at the scene after the collision.
Investigators are still looking into the circumstances of the accident to ascertain its cause.
