Fremont, CA – At least one person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday evening in Fremont, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The pileup transpired around 7:37 p.m. on southbound Interstate 880, just north of the Stevenson Boulevard off-ramp.

CHP officers and paramedics responded and located a gray Toyota Prius, a gray Toyota SUV, and a black unknown SUV at the scene. One of the SUV’s airbags had been deployed.

At least one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The other car occupants were evaluated at the scene, but it was unclear if anyone was hospitalized.

Authorities are investigating the crash.
