Kent, WA- Man Hit, Killed by Sounder Train on South 266th Street 

Initial reports indicate that a 46-year-old Auburn man was walking on the tracks when he was hit by a northbound S Line train.

Kent, WA – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a Sounder train on Thursday evening in Kent, according to the Kent Police Department.

The incident took place at around 6 p.m. September 24, on South 266th Street.

Initial reports indicate that a 46-year-old Auburn man was walking on the tracks when he was hit by a northbound S Line train.

Emergency crews with the Puget Sound Fire responded to the scene and the pedestrian was declared deceased shortly after.

No one aboard the train was reportedly injured following the accident.

Authorities are still conducting an investigation to establish the cause of the crash.
