San Francisco, CA – A multi- vehicle collision sent multiple people to the hospital Saturday evening in San Francisco.

The pileup occurred around 6:55 p.m. on September 19, 2026, at Park Presidio Boulevard and California Street.

Three vehicles were involved in the accident.

Six people were injured in the crash. Three of them were hospitalized with moderate injuries, and the other three with minor injuries.

The multi-casualty collision prompted San Francisco Fire officials to activate a yellow alert, a procedure aimed at requesting multiple ambulances and securing adequate emergency room occupancy for trauma patients.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
