San Francisco, CA – Several people were hospitalized after a crash involving multiple vehicles on Monday morning in San Francisco.
According to the San Francisco Fire Department, the incident took place at about 6 a.m. September 14, on Bayshore Boulevard and Industrial Street.
Investigations revealed that four vehicles were involved in the crash but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
Firefighters and the San Francisco Police Department soon arrived at the scene and attended to seven people injured in the crash.
The victims were then transported to a trauma center for further treatment. Two of the patients were in critical condition while the other five had minor injuries.
According to SFPD, alcohol and drugs were not believed to have been factors in the collision.
The exact circumstances of the crash were still under investigation.
