Santa Clarita, CA – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the 50-year-old woman who died Tuesday afternoon in a multi-vehicle collision that happened in Santa Clarita.

Four vehicles were involved in the accident.
Two other people were hospitalized, one of them in critical condition.

Santa Clarita, CA – One person was killed and two others injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash involving multiple vehicles near an intersection in Santa Clarita, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash was reported at approximately 12:15 p.m. on September 8, 2026, near Soledad Canyon Road and Rainbow Glen Drive.
Deputies responded to the scene and located four vehicles involved in the crash.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s name was withheld pending next-of-kin notification.
Two other people, including one in critical condition, were hospitalized following the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
