Riverside, CA – At least one person was seriously hurt in a two-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon on Interstate 215 in Riverside.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, the crash was reported around 5:44 p.m. on the southbound I-215 near Columbia Avenue.
A black Chevrolet Suburban and a tan Suburban were involved in the collision. Both vehicles pulled to the right shoulder after the crash.
The Riverside Fire Department responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the collision. The firefighters said one of the involved parties was verbally aggressive and requested CHP officers to respond quickly and handle the situation.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the accident. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
