Jackson, CA – Major Injuries Reported in Rollover Collision on SR-88 and Rossbridge Rd

Jackson, CA – At least one person was seriously hurt in a rollover collision involving two pickup trucks that happened Thursday morning in Jackson, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident occurred around 9:49 a.m. on August 20, 2026, on State Route 88 at Rossbridge Road.

A blue pickup truck and another pickup truck were involved in the accident. The blue truck overturned onto its side.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported at least one person to the hospital with severe injuries.

Both sides of the highway were closed for an unknown period following the collision.

CHP officers are investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
